London's iconic pedestrianised retail district illuminated by MaxiLED Large Globe DMX RGBW — individually addressable colour across the street.
MaxiLED Globe Series festoon lighting has been used to illuminate the iconic Carnaby area in London — a landmark celebrated worldwide for its creativity, culture and unique character. The installation highlights Carnaby’s vibrant energy, ensuring the streets shine as brightly as the style and spirit they represent.
The MaxiLED Large Globe DMX RGBW is engineered for large-scale public, architectural and artistic applications. Long addressable strands of globe-lensed LED LEDs deliver saturated colour across the district — every globe individually addressable via the patented 2-Wire MaxiLINK architecture, so a single 2-core cable carries both 48 VDC and the DMX 512 signal.
Control is handled by MaxiLINK and Pharos Architectural Controls — giving the operator scene-based programming across the seasons, from Christmas colour spectaculars to brand activations and quiet daytime warmth. The system is delivered with a 5-year guarantee and is rated for permanent outdoor pedestrian retail environments.
Carnaby Street is a true London original — a pedestrianised precinct that continues to set trends across culinary, fashion and premium retail. MaxiLED’s festoon lighting adds a striking layer of atmosphere, enhancing the streetscape while complementing the district’s ever-changing programme of culture, style and innovation.
